There is a paradigm shift happening in the world of agriculture. What the ancients knew instinctively is now coming full circle and being validated by modern science. It’s a slow painful slog at times, but it is happening. We “moderns” created this mess, and it’s going to take some time to fix it. Modern farming techniques solved a lot of problems 50-60 years ago, but now the unintended consequences of those solutions have come home to roost, and a fresh look at what we’re doing is required. For a long time the vermiculturists have been preaching to the choir, but when you find an article like this in an essentially political publication you know that an awakening is occuring.
